Regarding the AVL, take it on board lads and reap the financial benefits in relation to late calls/overtime. Than when you're in the vehicle and on the road just simply turn off the isolator switch and you dissapear from the control screen. Then you can get your shopping and nixers done

341 do you not look inside the bulkhead of the Colam cars on your preshift check?
If you did you would have seen that the wire from the satellite aerial on the roof is sabotaged

I think i will hold off and see what the Garda get for using AVL.
Some Dublin stations are now paid all overtime @ double time for letting the control use AVL to locate them.
But good things come to those who wait thats why Loughlinstown says NO!

Or is it your afraid they'll see where you really are when you tell them your still at the casualty in Our Lady's crumlin and M6 is darted to Bray whilst your sitting outside a coffee shop in Baggot St.

Thumbs down Disgraceful

What really is the problem with AVLS, other areas of the country use it and it can help. If some staff wish to be unprofessional and immature then go and sabotague HSE equipment. Juvenile to say the least, its amazing that remaining staff in Loco are happy to be associated with people whom wish to dodge and avoid calls, after all that is what you are paid for.

Preshift check? You've lost me there. is that something in the new PHECC guidlines, or perhaps the course on the flotation device? Because if it is then I'm exempt coz I haven't done any of those courses

Might sound naive here so if I do forgive me, is AVL a once off purchase by a user, under licence or a pay sa you use service.

Its a PAY as you ab USE service...

Seriously its the way forward and we need to embrace such technologies for the benefit of patient care. Anyone who thinks different is not a progressive team player.

You are "rent a moan" on other threads you want more 999 calls.
Yet when we allow you to do 999 work in our area you are still not happy.
